Support for non-mysql DBs? ODBC?What is the likelihood of support for ODBC? This would open up lots of other databases, especially as mysql's future must have a questionmark over it given Oracle's acquisition.
Re: Support for non-mysql DBs? ODBC?No plans at this time. But not out of the question down the road. There's a fair bit of mysql-specific code that would need to be refactored.
Re: Support for non-mysql DBs? ODBC?I would also find the ability to use Xataface over other DBs very useful. I would like to make use of Xataface for applications, but most of my data is not in MySQL and some can't be put there as it is part of packaged software. I hope this will become a priority in the not-too-distant future.
Thanks, --Bruce
