starting Editor from file widget

Hello,

I want to start an HTML editor when I click on "View field content in new window" from a file widget inside the edit form.
I.e. the file should be edited with the editor and then saved back to the default / existing path and filename.
Of course the label should read "Edit content" then.

This is a pretty standard use case, so probably it is already documented somwhere - only I could not find the location in the Wiki yet.
Perhaps you can hint me what I should read so I can figure it out myself

I don't think this is documented anywhere on the xataface site. I have never faced this requirement. You'll probably need to put some custom javascript/ajax solution together for this.
