How about trying to get some magazine coverage for Xataface and spread the news that way? Publications like Linux Magazine go worldwide to the Open Source community and would help raise the profile - http://www.linux-magazine.com - their coverage is pretty broad when it comes to open source.

Thanks for the suggestion. I haven't read linux magazine myself, but a quick search confirms that there have been PHP articles in it in the past. I'll look into this.
