Webauction and IE6

Postby lkillner » Mon Sep 22, 2008 3:06 pm

Hi,

We're in the process of creating a charity auction site for use internally and have successfully installed Webauction 0.3.2 on IIS6 with PHP. We've been carrying out some testing and found that we our users running IE6 are unable to register or login.

They can click on the link to register/login and enter all the details but when they press submit, they're directed to "http:///index.php". Our users running IE7 can login without a problem although the url is "http://charityauction.internal//index.php".

Does any one have any ideas? The auction starts tomorrow at 15:30 GMT!!

Thanks

Unfortunately I don't have the resources to actively test WebAuction with IIS. Evidently, IIS is having a little bit of trouble with the automatic URL generation.

If it is possible to install Apache and run on that, that should ensure correct functioning of the system.

As it is, I don't have access to an IIS machine to test this problem.... :(
