Hi Vlad,

Thank you for posting this. Your site looks like a great example of what Dataface can do. I am thinking about adding a page to the site to show examples of sites that use dataface. Would it be alright to add a link to your site on such a page?

Sure it's alright. It's a good idea to add a page listing sites using dataface. Maybe this way the usage of Dataface will increase.

I have been working on Dataface and find the documentation and user community abundant with ideas. The more I read the more questions I have.

Regarding Vlad's site at http://www.credituniondb.com . I have been struggling with how to create the left hand menu (I know how to turn off the top menu tabs). Also, how did the front end and back end get separated. As I have a request to post restaurant inspections and their results I want the inspectors to access the application and our web visitors to see what Vlad has developed on his site.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

TIA,
Steve

I believe that that site was adapted from the librarydb application.Ê You can see that application and all of the source code at http://demo.weblite.ca .

The left hand menu can be done most easily by overriding the Dataface_Application_Menu.html template with your own content.Ê

Thanks for the update Steve. Will take a look at librarydb and move forward.

Great Application and alot of fun getting things working since this solves many issues in my organization. Once I get my first application working as needed, the rest should fall into place.
