Change image directory

Quick question, I have the directory path for my image fields set in my table fields.ini file. I ended up changing the table name and also the path in the ini file. Problem is the links in Dataface are still pointing to the old path. I tried emptying all the cache pages. Is there something else I am missing?

I could re-upload them, but I'd like to know if there is a correct way of dealing with this.

Hi Roland,

You shouldn't have to clear any caches for this to update.Ê Are the incorrect links showing up in the list tab and browse tab, or are these places where you have manually pasted the links into other pages of your site?

Before digging too deep into this problem, I would go over the simple things to make sure that nothing has been missed.Ê Common pitfalls include:

1. Having duplicate sections in the same fields.ini file.Ê (i.e. make sure that there is only one section with options for this particular field).

2. Make sure that the directories are named correctly.Ê Are you sure that the INI file is being picked up at all?

Hard to say too much more with the information at hand.

oops, hehe....turns out I only changed the 'savepath' in the fields.ini....changed the 'url' setting and all is well, sorry for the bother.
