Hi Steve,
As in my previous post i mentioned i would follow your tutorial and install a FacultyofWidgetry db. I followed everything and i am at the point of configuring Dataface for the relationship and here is the error i get when clicking on the "Courses" tab in Program.
Any idea what could be causing this? My fields seem good on the DB and i double checked my relationships.ini file.

Hi,
A relationship acts between records. i.e. you must first add a program record before you can add any related records to the program.

It was just released a couple of days ago.. maybe minutes after you downloaded 0.5.3r2.
Stay tuned for 0.6 also. It is the version that has been under development for the past few months. It will change a number of things in the Look & Feel so I need to create new tutorials before I release it. But it will be coming very soon. I'm already using it on 3 production systems.
Best regards
Steve

I installed 0.5.4 and i still have the error but now its about line 62 ?!
Notice: Object to string conversion in /var/www/html/dataface-0.5.4/Dataface/Error.php on line 62
im looking forward to seeing 0.6, as a suggestion for that version maybe you could include a *.sql file to create the db and populate it with some data ? this will save time and avoid mistakes for people wanting to try Dataface out and tinker with it!
Also maybe include some other sql files for the addons like relationships or what ever other example mods can be done?

Hi,
Sorry, can't reproduce this behavior. I'm trying on windows, os x, solaris, and linux. Strange...
I guess it would be possible for someone to put together a .sql file to accompany the tutorial. It wouldn't be terribly difficult to do. I fear that those would just be more difficult for people to figure out, though.
