I have removed the selected result actions from the bottom of the list view for certain users. However, the selection checkboxes in the left column remain. Since they no longer seem to serve any function in this case, I would like to remove them to prevent confusion. What is the best way to remove them?

A preference directive has been added in 0.8 (not yet released) to do this. However none exists for the current version. You should be able to hide them using some clever css though.

Okay, thanks. I'm not in a rush for this functionality, so I will wait until you release version 0.8. BTW, I noticed the how-to document "How to add user registration to your application" refers to version 0.7.4, but only 0.7.1 is currently available. Is this a typo?

No typo. Sorry.. some of the docs are incomplete and must be removed.. When I imported them into the new site I forgot to hide the ones that aren't complete (there are only about 4 or 5 how-to's that are like this)...

Hence the user registration feature probably won't work in 0.7.1

Try the "disable_select_rows" preference.

i just tried that, and it doesnt work for some reason, i tried doing it globally in conf.ini , in each tables fields.ini and in application delegate class too. i know it must be something stupid but its not obvious to me yet.....

Just tried it on a test site on 1.3.x branch. It appears to work.

Added the following to my conf.ini file:

   disable_select_rows=1


What version of Xataface are you using?

the latest, 1.3.2...
