2 questions about "Find" tab

Hi guys,
Thanks for all the help so far... I have two quick questions though about the find tab.

1. For some reason all of the search instructions are up above the search entry fields. Is there any way to fix this?

2. I have 2 relationships set up that work great everywhere else, but they show up down at the bottom of the find tab and I don't need them down there. Is there a way to get them to not show up? I have tried putting visibility:find=hidden in several places, but I can't get them to go away.


I have spent about an hour trying to find the answer on the forums, but I have not been able to get either one to work.

This find tab has been screaming for a makeover for a long time now. I have addressed some of the issues in the current latest revision of the SVN repository but haven't released them yet. They will probably be released with 1.3rc4 in the next couple of days. These changes address the following issues:

1. Added support for visibility:find=hidden in relationships to hide the relationship from a find form.
2. Search instructions are hidden by default. User can click "Show Search Instructions" to pop up the search instructions.
3. The search instructions have been moved into a separate template "Dataface_Search_Instructions.html" so that it can be overridden more easily now.
4. All search instructions have now been factored out into the language files so that they can be translated now.

Were you any closer to releasing 1.3rc4? Having that new find tab functionality would really spruce up my project due next week! =)

No hard ETA right now. If you want the new functionality you can always pull it directly from SVN:

To get the 1-4 functionality you listed above, do you know what files I would pull from the repository? I really only want to be able to hide fields from the find screen. I have so many duplicates from all of the relationships I have set up.
