New 0.3.3 release

Postby Karonthe » Fri Oct 31, 2008 4:39 am

This is a new release, isn't it?

I've downloaded it and read the changes.txt and it appears to contain only the correction to the timezone bug reported in http://bugs.weblite.ca/view.php?id=196, in addition to a new feature that shows the current time to the user.

Is it possible to obtain it as a bug fix (even in text form, if short), in order to save the need of a full reinstall?

I'm affraid that I'm not followed the "best-practices handbook" and I've modified a lot of base php files and templates

Hi,

I have posted a patch to go from 0.3.2 to 0.3.3 at
http://dev.weblite.ca/webauction-0.3.2-to-0.3.3.patch

You will also need to update your dataface/dataface-public-api.php file to the latest version. You can obtain that at
http://weblite.ca/svn/dataface/core/tru ... ic-api.php

Although it is best to upgrade the entire dataface folder to the latest Xataface 1.0.4 (or higher) as this will ensure no comptibility conflicts.

Best regards

Thanks for the upgrade, Steve.

In order to update Xataface (noticed that the current version is 1.0.6), is it enough to download it and to replace the home/dataface Webauction folder?

P.S.: I've found a little mistake in readme.txt, it points to install/install.php instead of install.php.

Thanks.

Yes. To upgrade xataface simply replace the dataface folder with xataface-1.0.6

(or download webauction-0.3.4 and replace your dataface folder with it).
