Hi, Steve I have been working with the program now everyday. Got everything to work the way like I want it. It was fun. I now make better customizations Thanks to you and a wonderful program. Yes here comes the other shoe..... Only one thing left ( I hope), I would like to have users when they register mandatory put their address , as a matter of fact It would be fantastic to have all fields mandatory, in order to proceed. Because it is a pain to get info after the auction sending everybody emails to get the shipping address and some people do not understand the amount of work is involved. Besides getting emails they have not received any info yet. I have to explain to then look in the SPAM folder. Don't even think of explaining to them what a white list is. For this reason I would be much in your dept to find out where and how to do this....
As always, a kajillion thanks, Blessed be and be well.....
Klaus

Making those fields required is quite easy. Just make them NOT NULL in the users table of the database.

Open PHPMyAdmin or whatever tool you use for managing the underlying mysql database. Then in the "users" table, you can add columns. These columns will show up on the registration page. If you make them "NOT NULL", then they will be required.

Thanks Steve i think I got will let you know. Now, about address for the users when they register. I need that field and mandatory. I don't need "role" or "department" no use to me, but the actual mailing address surd would be nice. Please make my life easier, Thanks BTW: Re. pictures, I figured it out by myself. It is primitive, but it does the job and then some. So, instead of the picture can I have a address field, PLEASE!!!!!! Thanks Klaus

You do need the role field. This is how permissions are handled in the system.
You can add mailing address fields yourself directly in the database. If you add these columns to the users table, they will appear on the registration form.

Sorry Steve, you are right I do need the role, stupid of me. Here is the poop I am 61 years young, been in computers since late 70's, but I am a hard ware geek. I am not a good software geek. ) I tried to see about those columns, but I regret to say i am failing this test. I need a cheat sheet, or something. I wish I had payed more attention on the software side, but I hate numbers......... So, please help an old fart out here..... I thank you as always, Sir Steve Klaus
