Customize Related Record Display Lists?

This is my second question in a couple of hours, sorry for being so unknowledgeable!

If I want to customize the list view for a table, I override renderRow and renderRowHeader in the delegate class and it's awesome and beautiful.

Is there any way I can achieve the same control over the list that is displayed when I view any related record list for a record?

I thought I had implemented this

but evidently I haven't. There doesn't look to be an easy way to override related rows other than using javascript after it is rendered, or CSS. You can, of course, customize the content of any cell using the fieldname__renderCell() method, and you can override the whole template, but you can't just override a row.
