Problem with Fonts/Text size in old MS Internet explorer 7-8

Hi,

I have some problems with how different browsers interpret text/fonts. When I use Firefox and a newer version of IE 9 it works fine, all is almost the same size. the problems starts when someone is using older version of IE eg 7-8. Some text used will become very big, especially labels and stuff. Do anyone have a fix for this or know how I can solve it? Some users, that I would like to use the site, dont have the possibility to upgrade IE and therefore is this a problem for me.

Thanks in advance!

Best Regards

Goran

Hi!

Thanks for the reply!

I have assembled a screenshot that compare IE9 (Left one) and Firefox 12 (Right one). The browsers are configured for 100% viewing. You can see the difference in size and if you use IE7-8 is is even more emphasized. I can try to ul a scrrenshot with IE8 tomorrow also for comparison. I would like it to be displayed like Firefox version.

Strange. Can you give me a link to the page so I can test it out with my browsers and see if I get the same thing?

I replied to your private message. For future users having the same issue, the problem was not with Xataface, but with an unclosed <h1> tag in the custom Dataface_Logo.html template.
