Calendar Function Issue

When I select the calendar tab and it shows the month I select the day to get a list of events for that day on the right hand side by time and nothing shows up. I have edited the fields.ini for the event.start and event.end but still no list. I also noticed that the title for the event shows:
2010-8-19 at 0:0
when I actually click on the event to list that specific event on the right of the calendar. I have double checked the database and it is storing the field as a TIME field. The correct times are shown in the database.
