The bid never close

I just set up the system using version 0.3.2.
All are working fine, users can receive outbid notification as well.
But the bid didn't close itself when the close time set has passed.
So users can still place bid whenenver they want.
Is there anything I should correct ? Thanks

The bids are set to close at the latter of:
1. The specified closing time.
2. 5 minutes after the last bid.
So it is possible that the auction could go on a little past the deadline if people keep bidding.

Hi Steve, thank you for the update.
But there was no users keep on bidding, as I just set it up in testing phase, I & a testing user could just place bid hours after the bid closing time.
As there is no daemon on system side to run through the records and close the bid accordingly, there must be some action needed to trigger the close of that bid.
Should it be the first person who place the bid after closing time ? but in my case, users can just ignore closing time and place bid.
The system time is verified as correct.

This is very strange. There is no daemon. Every page request it checks for expired auctions and closes them.
All I can think is that it is an issue with time zones or your server's date settings. Difficult to diagnose on this end with the current information though.

Thank you, Steve.
Yup. It is the issue with time zone.
We are in GMT+8. This morning the bid should start from 9AM but it didn't, after I change it to 12AM, then could start the bid.
But i checked the time setting on the computer where WebAuction is running and also bidder's pc time, all are set as GMT+8. The bidder profile is also set at GMT+8.
Is there other setting I should look for ? Thank you.

There is also a setting for the auction timezone that you can set in the auction settings.

I have verified the timezone setting inside WebAuction. and double checked the Windows System time setting and even the TimeZone setting in MySql (it follows "system").
But still there is the timezone gap, this morning I again need to change the opening time to 0AM in order to enable the bid at local time 9AM.
Just can't figure out where went wrong and it seems only me got this problem.

Hi Michael,
This is strange indeed. Would it be possible for you to give me temporary admin access to your auction so I can take a look?

Hi Steve,
The system is located in office network, is not accessible from pubic internet. I will test on it from time to time, will post any finding here.
Thanks again.
