There is now an IRC Chat Channel (Chat Room) on irc.ubuntu.com. To access, simply point your IRC Chat Client (mirc.com is a good one for WINDOWS users...) to irc.ubuntu.com.

The chat channel is entitled #Dataface. To join just type /join #Dataface in your IRC client. I plan on leaving myself in the chat room throughout the work day. Also when I am online after hours I expect to be there as well. However, though my nick (Aoirthoir) may appear in the room list, I may not always physically be paying attention to what is going on. But if I am available and can help with a problem I will try to do so. This would be a good way for us to all collaborate on a more immediate basis. Though my suggestion is that any ideas we work out there, we should also post to this forum for future reference.

Thank you kindly. (I am there now as of 2006-12-29).

I'll be in there off and on to see who is there, starting this weekend.
