Usually when I come to the Dataface website, I first do a search for it on Google, then I click the link from Google to come here. Well the more that that happens, the higher a link moves up into the list. Thus, this website is now the first link in the Google search. So if you do a "I'm Feeling Lucky" search, you would end up here straight away. In Firefox you now just have to type dataface in the address bar and wallah....here you are

:D

Just thought yall might like to know.

OK well it is a contest between here and some other crazy face recognition software or something. If someone goes there from google it moves them up. But we are neck in neck enough that each time I do a google search, if they are up, then another search and dataface (the real dataface as opposed to that fake dataface) is back up.

Yes.. my girlfriend alerted me to this too. Oh what an intense race. I wonder if the other dataface even knows the race is happening :)

Google ranks pages also by the pages pointing to it, so simply requesting that Dataface home page a zillion of times would not necessarily get this page into position one. It is also important to be linked to well by other sites.
