Hi, Im making dictionary database of thai-japanese by Mysql.
My database should contain 3 type of letters, thai, japanese and latin characters(to save pronounciation).
So i set up Mysql as use UTF-8.
And when open My application of Dataface by browser,i can read thai, japanese, english, as the other software.
but when i add, or modify records and push save bottun than those thai and japanese letters which i wrote are transformed to some degit number like "#%3214#8756"
Are there any way to solve this problem?
with myphpadmin myquickadmin phpmyedit, there are no problem like this.

p.s. i think dataface is the coolest framework for mysql, i love this interface, thanx

Add the following to the beginning of your conf.ini file. This should fix the problem:

default_oe = UTF-8
default_ie = UTF-8

Let me know how it goes.

Thank you so much, Steve.
Adding two little sentences fix the problem.
But still remaining a problem.....

It happens when I use "list" view, by clicking "+" button.
If the record don't contain Thai letters, it looks great.
But sadly, in my case every record contains Thai letters.
If the column contains Thai letters, it shows strange four letters at the end of the column.
This letters not related to the number of Thai letters, always four.
Looks like this problem is difficult to explain with my poor english, so i uploaded the sreenshot to my folder.

It's not a serious problem, i can use every function that i want.
And I'm not sure that this problem is because of Dataface or not.......
But if there are some solutions, Im appreciated.
