How to change default view

Can I change default view to a search field and the default view
to the result of search?
Can I login with a user and password? if yes, how?

Both of these are possible right now, though both require a little bit of PHP programming. For instructions on changing the default view, see this how-to:

Permissions right now require a fair amount of programming effort on your part. Version 0.6 (coming before May 15) will automate much of it to make your job easier, but I have put together a little tutorial on permissions in the current version (0.5.3) at:
