Offline version (HTML5 local datastore)

Are there any plans to make it possible to have an offline version of a xataface application. Ie, so users can use it offline (eg. read-only when offline, and read-write when online). Would this require a rewrite of the whole xataface structure? or is there a shortcut? My guess is that it would need HTML5, cache manifests and sqlite client side databases...

This would be very cool... but nothing in stone right now. I've been looking at different ways to introduce more HTML5 features into Xataface but it is still in the experimentation phase.
