Crazy idea? Easy way to combine Dataface with Drupal?

A place to discuss development of the Xataface core.

Drupal has a Plone them. If somebody could find a way to combine the logins, you could have drupal and dataface in seperate directories, with seperate databases, but switching between the two would be nearly transparent to the end-users.

Not such a crazy idea. Combining the logins wouldn't be hard either. Dataface supports CAS (Central Authentication System) and so does Drupal (http://drupal.org/project/cas) by their associated plugins. One could use CAS authentication to combine them.

If CAS doesn't interest, it wouldn't be hard to whip up a Drupal auth module for Dataface (use the CAS module as a reference) to do this.

Keep the "crazy" ideas coming.

Best regards
